His love for the sea started unexpectedly, with a casual day sail in NY Harbor just a few blocks from his apartment. That outing launched a lifetime of adventure, from navigating NYC’s waterways to braving hurricanes, doldrums, winged stowaways, and the Bermuda Triangle.

After logging 360 days at sea, he earned his USCG 100 Ton Master Captain’s License. Equal parts expert sailor and NYC history buff, Captain Martin offers a one-of-a-kind chance to explore Manhattan’s nautical side.
